I’m going to blow your mind with something today.

Would you like to know the ONE thing which everyone who has been trying to quit porn for over two years misses?

If you haven’t been struggling with this for up to two years- no worries, this will be helpful to you as well.

See, when I was trying to end my habit with porn, I always assumed that a combination of willpower, discipline, spiritual faith, perhaps a filter and my BIG goals would be the solution.

I tried everything because I BADLY wanted out of my porn hell. I was so sick and tired of sexualizing every single woman I came across, tired of feeling like a pervert 24/7, tired of a life that revolved around my next masturbation session.

I was so scared that I would end up being a fuck up in life. It’s so depressing to KNOW that despite what the outside works think of you-you are truly a FRAUD

At one point, on the outside, I was viewed as a charismatic, well-spoken, 21 year old with lots of potential in my career and in college. Inside, I was the guy who spent an entire lecture staring at girls in class and wondering what sort of face they would make if we had anal sex.

The funny thing was- at that point, I was still a virgin.

Well, I tried all of those approaches mentioned for a few years and if you did as well, you can probably relate to some of these results:

Willpower: This could get me through 30 Days, but I’d always end up edging or touching myself and eventually masturbating. A typical example was once when I was so sexually frustrated after 30 Days that I ended up waking up one morning and kinda rubbing myself against my bedsheet until I orgasmed. In my mind, the justification was “You didn’t touch yourself, so you didn’t masturbate”. Of course, I felt really bad as soon as I was done and ended up watching porn a few days later. Have you ever experienced that before?

Discipline: This is pretty good. You have these moments when you are super focused on killing it in your career, and you make sure that NOTHING gets in the way of your progress. Often, you might be too busy to masturbate. Unfortunately, you don’t know how to sustain self-discipline. After all, it’s not a part of your lifestyle just yet. Eventually, you get stressed and feel like you deserve to relax. At that point, you either break a boundary with your diet, some substance or your time management, “chill out” and end up watching porn again.

Filters: Nothing much to say here. We bypass it, use a different device, download another browser, or uninstall it when our “addict” takes over. “The filter sucks” is our excuse every time.

Goals: Ah…. our goals. Whether its dating goals, financial goals, career goals, self-improvement goals or relationship goals…you believe that you want that goal bad enough to quit. You tell yourself over and over again “This is SERIOUS, man! I NEED to achieve this- there is NO TIME for this porn BS!”. All to no avail-your addiction was present in your life BEFORE your goals.
There is only one way for your big goals to bypass your porn habit. That way is ROCK BOTTOM. Totally screwing up your life thanks to porn.

Spiritual Faith: I was raised as a Catholic. Though I am no longer religious, at one point, my porn addiction was so intense that I dropped to my knees and prayed to every saint I could remember to deliver me from my behavior. Some of you do the same thing. Then your promptly binge on rape-themed porn for two hours.

As I told a client this morning: “Jesus only saves 5-9% of addicts. The rest gotta save themselves”. (That’s an actual statistic and there’s a very interesting story behind that. I’ll tell you about it another time.)

O.K- enough foreplay for now, lol.

The ONE thing that every man who’s been trying to quit porn over two years misses in his porn addiction recovery toolkit is ACCOUNTABILITY.

We don’t use accountability because we are fucking MEN.

We think we’re so damn capable of ending our porn use on our own that we will go for DECADES without ever IMAGINING that someone else knowing about your addiction could be the ONE thing we’re missing.

The dictionary definition of accountability is:

“The obligation of an individual to account for his activities, accept responsibility for them, and to disclose the results in a transparent manner.”

This means to tell people who have invested in you what you have achieved. It is your DUTY to demonstrate your effort, your responsibility, your achievement and your progress.

You don’t HAVE to be accountable.

You GET to be accountable. Its the SUPERHIGHWAY to quitting porn.

Please read those last two statements again.

There are three parts to accountability:

1) Visibility: When others know what you want, you can all appreciate your goal together.

2) Clarity: Know what you want allows you to move towards it with PURPOSE

3) Activity: Others knowing your goal allows for action because when you take a step towards your goal, they get inspired to become better accountability partners!

Here’s the magical thing about having these three parts of accountability present during your journey to quit porn:

Visibility + Clarity = FOCUS. You know what you want and you actually see it become a reality. No more self doubt.

Clarity + Activity= PROGRESS. You are clear about what you are doing and never waste time with useless action. No more browsing forums, reading a ton of books and watching endless videos to put it all together.

Activity + Visibility=ENCOURAGEMENT. Others support you, and give you positive feedback as you move forward.

Author S. J. Scott lists seven benefits of accountability in his book The Accountability Manifesto.( great book!)

Accountability when quitting porn gives you better performance under evaluation.
* Your slips are further and further apart-sometimes you NEVER relapse when you have accountability.

Accountability when quitting porn allows for honest feedback from others.
* You can’t BS yourself any longer.

Accountability expects you follow through on your commitments to quit.
* No more excuses. You told someone clearly that you would do something. So you do it.

Accountability establishes firm deadlines for tasks in your recovery.
* You become a FINISHER. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know that almost all porn addicts are incapable of finishing long term projects. Your prefrontal cortex which regulates this has been damaged. Accountability gives it a chance to rebuild neural pathways.

Accountability keeps you grounded in reality.
* No more fantasies. No more low self esteem based on false perceptions of yourself.

Accountability helps you learn from the success and failure of others who are trying to quit as well.
* John went on a business trip and didn’t call the hotel front desk and tell them to block the adult channels. Well, I certainly won’t be making THAT mistake!

Accountability prevents little problems from becoming big problems.
* No porn fantasies moving from tube sites to chatrooms to cruising for partners in real life.

Accountability is NOT a “drag”. It is a wonderful opportunity. The missing ingredient in the actions of many men who are on this journey. Finding a good accountability partner is often the ONLY thing you need to quit.

One of my earliest mentors was Mark Manson ( before he became famous).

About 12 years ago in Austin, Texas as we ended our coaching day in a bar ( yes- I literally paid his cash money to get coached in a bar over a few pale ales) he said:

“You know J.K, if you just did three things in order of importance- quit watching so much porn, move to a cooler town, talked to 10 women a week and had someone keep you accountable, you’ll solve 90% of your problems within 3 months.”

He was right. He kept me accountable and I unlocked another level of my recovery.

I truly hope you find the courage to include accountability in your recovery. It just might make the next few months the best of your life.

Whats better than an orgasm, really?

Its one of the most exhilarating and pleasurable experiences we can have as human beings. I’m sure there is a mental equivalent with drugs, but orgasm comes without any side effects a precisely for that reason, there is nothing that competes with it.
I always laugh when I hear people who are anti-drug or anti-alcohol, preach against these things, yet they are addicted to releasing a chemical cocktail in their brains several times a day.

When you have access to something that feels so good, that satisfies you on such a deep level, there is a tendency to go back to it over and over again. The problem is, you are not considering the consequences of your decision to chase orgasms over and over again. Many times, men who struggle with porn addiction problems and sex addiction tell themselves that they are going to masturbate, but they are not going to orgasm…but what happens when you get to the critical decision making point? Well, you choose orgasm, because you want it NOW.

There have been several studies done which show that children who don’t have much self-control frequently grow up to lead less successful lives as adults. However, you CAN control your immediate gratification. You can learn how to put off short-term gratification, for long-term benefits. The short-term benefit is almost always smaller than the long-term benefit. This immediate gratification habit from orgasm also extends into other areas of your life such at your eating habits, your financial habits, your sleeping habits, your internet browsing and entertainment habits and much more. It’s a very powerful thing.
So what are some of the long-term benefits of not having an orgasm right now:
You are able to work on other areas of your life such as developing intimate relationships. An addiction to orgasms before you have developed intimate sexual relationships not only puts that relationship at risk but makes it less likely that you will even enter one. For those of you having casual sex, an immediate gratification problem with orgasms can lead to you making bad decisions, expose you STDs, as well as emotionally unstable individuals whom you should not be having sex with.

You’ll spend less money and time chasing orgasms. Less money on cam sites, less money on escorts and less time on porn. From personal experience, I can tell you that the amount of time that was freed up from watching porn was has allowed me to accomplish so much more in my life.

You’ll also avoid drama with your friends family and you’ll avoid breaking the law. All of this creates incredible amounts of stress- the secrets, the risky behavior, the guilt, and the fear of being found out.
This is not just for an orgasm. This is done all the time. People hold back on eating out, buying clothes, gadgets and entertainment in order to save money to buy a home. Others avoid eating sugar and carbs in order to lose weight. To put myself through college, I drove a junky 1990 ford Taurus and sold books door to every summer with no weekends off for many years. It took me a long time to graduate, but I didn’t want to graduate with debt.

So how do we fix instant gratification?

There is only step to this.
Separate the emotional part of the orgasm process from the rational.
I’m going to give you an exercise that will help you to do this, but before that, let me give you an example from my life.
When I was in college, I had the choice to take out a student and pay for summer classes, or take the summer off like many college students and enjoy myself. Everyone else was doing the same thing. Instead of focusing on all the fun I could have in the summer, I instead chose to focus on what my life would be like in the Fall and after I graduated. I wanted real-world experience through an internship or a job, and I didn’t want to be broke as a college student. That intense focus on the things I wanted in the long term caused me to put off having fun till later. As a result, all through college years getting multiple degrees, I never had Spring Break, a summer break or a fall break. I was either doing an internship, selling door to door or building a business. If I only focused on the pleasurable things- video games, going on trips, getting high and drunk, I would have given in to it.
Don’t get me wrong, the temptation was there, and I wasn’t perfect, but I learned through that process that you can become adapted to seeking long-term gratification as opposed to short-term pleasure.

Here’s the Exercise:
Write out your immediate sexual gratification problem with orgasm:
It could be:
The need to watch porn and masturbate immediately
The need to have an orgasm through sex, so you call or visit an escort. There are also men who need the gratification so much that they will seek orgasm with another man or a transgender individual when they cannot find a woman…and those who identify as straight men, but they have become opportunistic with orgasms.
It could be the need to get on a cam site and watch someone live in order to orgasm.
It could be cruising, driving around, spending time on dating apps or going to a club to pick someone up to have sex with immediately
Whatever your instant gratification problem is, write it out.

Then write out the Pleasurable Emotional aspects of it and the Rational Aspects of it.

For example, you may have the desire to pay for sex with a prostitute. The emotional aspects could be the physical feeling of penetrating another human being, it could be certain sounds, maybe you get high when to do it and that increases how pleasurable the experience is. All those are emotional and may even cause physical reactions when you write them down.

On the other side of the page, write out the rational aspects. One could be that you would be spending money that was budgeted for something else- like paying your rent. And because of that, you would be short on your rent by the end of the month and have to go through the embarrassment of borrowing money as a grown ass man from your parents in order to pay rent. Another could be that you run the risk of contracting an STD from having sex with a prostitute. You could also consider the fact that this time its a police sting or you’re in a shady situation paying for sex and get robbed.

The more you practice this, the better you’ll get at it. Now, this exercise is not meant to be done when you feel an urge- if you can do it then, that great too, but its to be done now, right after watching this and perhaps every morning and evening. Instead of using your willpower, you simply use your minds ability to think about thinking. That’s what separates you from every other creature on earth. You can think about thinking. And you have that ability precisely to improve your condition as a human being.
Use it.

Do you have a resistance to admitting that you have a “porn addiction”?

I admit- when I began my journey to end my out of control porn addiction problems and masturbation behavior, I simply refused to categorize myself as an “addict”. After all, I came from an educated, moderately religious family with conservative values.

I experienced a relatively happy, and memorable childhood. I never tried any hardcore drugs, and in early adulthood, I tried to live my life by the book.

Yet, I would find myself acting like a possessed heroin junkie anytime I went without porn or masturbating for three days.

Many men find it really difficult to admit they have a problem with pornography because it simply hasn’t been labeled an addiction my the mainstream media or society in general. That’s going to change over the next few years, but in the meantime, I’d like to point out why porn and masturbation addiction is so much trickier to beat than other addictions.

In fact, some of my clients who recovered from alcohol and drug addictions confirm that porn, sex, and masturbation are harder to quit than those substances.

There are two simple criteria when it comes to identifying where a persons porn use is addictive:

1) You have no control over it. This means you’ve made a firm decision to quit, but gave in several times.
2) Negative Consequences. It is affecting your emotions, career, relationships, productivity, academics or lifestyle in a negative way.

Both criteria must be met for porn, sex or masturbation to be classified as an addiction.

But the LEVEL of loss of control and the level of negative consequences must also be considered when trying to stop this behavior.

In my experience, the LEVEL of porn addiction varies depending on different factors in your life.

This is one crucial fact that many things all the “quit fapping” influencers on YouTube and even therapists don’t understand.

Excuse me while I rant for a moment.

This is not a game or a “challenge”- it is a serious problem that destroys lives. A handful of techniques, tips, and philosophies MIGHT help a 21-year-old who spends 80% of his day glued to his smartphone or computer- but it will do nothing for the 28-year-old young professional who is trying to succeed at his career, or the 33 year old who realizes that he’s thrown away his twenties, or the 40-year-old who feels that he sabotaged his career and serious life relationships perhaps losing his kids to divorce, or the 52-year-old who feels that its pretty much over for him.

Just because a high testosterone 21 year old feels guilty about masturbating twice a day doesn’t mean that a 27+-year-old man going places in life has the same problems as he does.

Some young men don’t know what it like to go through a break up( because they are so stuck on porn, that they can’t get in a relationship), deal with real-life stress such as paying mortgages, keeping employees on payroll, juggling work and kids, taking care of aging parents, paying taxes, deal with workplace politics- the list goes on.

Any 18-24-year-old reading this email is without a doubt above average and has some big aspirations in life. Take your problem with porn seriously, handle it and start living your best life instead of spending years playing 90 Day challenges.

Rant Over.

Ever wonder why sometimes, you binge watch porn for weeks and sometimes you have the ability to 100% abstain for months or even years?

I used to wonder the same thing as well.

This happens because your level of porn addiction and your COMMITMENT to quit varies depending on life circumstances such as your :
1) Emotions
2) Stress
3) Relationships
4) Financial situation
5) Family

Next time you are watching a video, reading a book, or looking for a counselor to help you with your porn addiction, screen them to find out if they understand this.

Here are the levels of behavior with pornography:

Level 1

This is the person who watches pornography three or four times a year. In fact, if you can count the number of times you’ve watched porn in a 12 month period on one hand, then this is the level you are at.
Due to the highly sexualized world we live in, there is of course always a risk of increasing involvement with pornography. If you have well established healthy ways of managing your emotions, stress, and family life, you are in a good place.

Level 2

At this level- you are not addicted either. However, you have watched porn and masturbated to it 6 to 12 times in a year. In some of those cases, you were not simply aroused. One or more sessions may have been triggered by curiosity due to something you came across online or perhaps because of a reference someone made. At this level, you may have watched porn to medicate/feel better about some undesirable situation in your life.

Level 3

At this point, pornography is quite likely to become a problem. You are viewing porn at least once a month, possibly for a few months or years. You know you are at level three when you try to stop yourself each month, but no matter how hard you try, you always end up slipping. Usually, you binge for a while, then try to quit again.
This is the point where many men begin to use their willpower and count down the days which they have spent off porn. It’s not an out of control problem yet, but it does take an effort to quit since the porn you are watching at this point is no longer soft core porn- your tastes are gradually changing.

FANTASY is what moves you from level 3 to level 4.

At Level 3, when you are not watching porn, there is a very high chance that you are fantasizing or sexualizing your encounters with other people. When you fantasize intensely for prolonged periods of time- away from your device, you release chemicals which make you feel good- a feeling that only gets better by watching porn.

Level 4

At this level, pornography is having an obvious effect on your life. You may start noticing that porn is affecting your career, your family or your school work.
Your fantasies are out of control at this point. When you are not watching porn, you often find yourself fantasizing about porn and sex.

You are watching pornography a couple of times a month and you have been trying to different ways to stop. Usually, nothing works at this point and you start getting worried about why it seems so difficult to quit.
This is the point where you may search for “how to stop watching porn” online.

In my experience, this level is also your final chance to end your porn use on your own. Beyond this, your entire life, whether you realize it or not, will begin to be dictated by your porn addiction. The reason why is that left unchecked, your behavior with pornography begins to generate deeper psychological issues.

Over the years, I’ve realized that there are only TWO responses to level 4. For the purpose of simplicity, I’ve divided these responses into two groups of men which we will call “Type A” and “Type B”.

Type A:

This is an already accomplished person who understands what it takes to achieve success on a consistent basis. They have usually established themselves in their career, and have a relatively balanced lifestyle. This means that you have friends, close bonds with family, take care of your health and know how to go about getting most of the things you want in life. If you are a student, you are also relatively successful in your academic life.
Type A men, once they understand that they have a problem, see it as an obstacle to their life. Their natural reaction is the same as it is to every other obstacle in their life- to get rid of it by any means necessary because they have places to go. They will usually visit a counselor, get a mentor or invest in something actionable to get back their edge on their own. When searching for help online, they screen everyone for results and success- that is, whomever they seek help from must be moving forward in their life as well. Action has always worked for them and thanks to this habit, they usually experience positive results in their recovery.
Some of my most successful clients are driven lawyers, engineers, students in law school, student-athletes, salespeople, doctors and business owners.

It must be noted that some Type A people do not seek help- usually because they are never informed that one could have a compulsive behavior with porn, they are misdiagnosed by a counselor or they are at a level of financial success that insulates them from the true impact of their problem.

Type B:

This person has usually not achieved their goals or is lagging behind for one reason or the other. Typically, they have good intentions but already have problems motivating themselves, have developed bad habits such as social media/smartphone addiction/internet addiction, bad diets, play video games compulsively or a minor drug/alcohol problem.

They may have a career or be in college, but they would not rate themselves at anywhere near their potential. Some have a genuine desire to be successful and have tried, but their repeated failures have left them with a lot of self-doubts.

As is sadly the case of most men seeking direction, I have noticed that Type B men were often diagnosed with depression, ADD/ADHD or some other disorder at some point in their life. This diagnosis then served as a subconscious crutch throughout their lives- frequently sabotaging their attempts to excel in life.

Type B men, once they understand that they have a problem, will respond as they have to most things in life. Typically, they will seek the opinion of someone who is similar to them. They gravitate towards influencers on social media who are entertaining or are in a similar demographic to them. They are more likely to accept “popular opinion” as fact as opposed to doing their own research. The popular way, of course, is usually the “easy way”. In the case of quitting porn use, it is :

1) “Stay off porn for 90 Days and count REALLY HARD”
2) “ Improve your lifestyle and be a man”
3) “Watch more videos about not masturbating and the more you watch, the more you will understand”

Type B men take massive action- but their action is typically limited to watching a lot of videos or reading a lot of articles, comments, and opinions. When they do try to curb their behavior with porn, they usually fail since they don’t have a definite plan.
Their self-doubt, reinforced by underachieving in other areas of their lives kicks in.When the effects of porn addiction on their life become too unbearable, the Type B man start seeks help, but unfortunately, because he doesn’t believe in investing in himself, seeks cheap and “quick fixes” which usually makes them prey to scams and hustlers looking to make a quick buck online.

If you fall into the Type B category or are a Type A person with a few character traits of Type B showing up in your life, don’t get discouraged. I was in that category as well till I was fortunate enough to find a mentor who opened my eyes to my self-sabotaging way of thinking.

Level 5

At this point, viewing pornography is a daily habit and a major part of your life. You are watching porn and masturbating just to fall asleep. You sexualize every single woman ( and sometimes even men) you see.

Level 5 is when you stop growing and developing as a person. Your career, your relationships with people- everything is set up to maximize porn use.
For instance, you spend a lot of time alone in front of your computer or phone. You never initiate a social meet up of any sort for dinner or a movie. All your hobbies are solitary and you never step out of the comfort zone of those who were already in your life when you reached Level 5.

Anytime I speak to a man at Level 5, I find that he has paid a heavy price for his porn addiction.
Some of the things he has sacrificed at this point are:

1) Career: He has lost a job, or severely underperformed at his career due to his porn use.
2) Relationships: Intimate relationships have ended. Either due to his partner leaving him because of his incessant porn use or due to him sabotaging the relationship due to his inability to fully commit. He always feels that there is a “better” woman out there..always wondering if perhaps he can “upgrade”.
3) Education: Mediocre to failing performance in academics

When you try to quit at this point, you begin to experience strong withdrawal symptoms such as erectile dysfunction, irritability, extreme daytime fatigue, headaches, problems sleeping and social anxiety- worrying more than often about peoples opinions.

By this point, you quite literally do not know how to stop. Both Type A and Type B men realize that they need help at this point. Again, their responses at Level 5 are quite different.

If you are a Type A person, you will usually disclose your struggle to a trusted friend or some sort of mentor. This is usually a good step, as it brings your porn and masturbation use out of secrecy. You then have the courage to share it with more people. Many Type A men are surprised to learn at this point that the person they shared it with faces the same problem!

If you are a Type B, you will do one of two things. “Break” psychologically and “ignore” the problem-effectively incorporating Level 5 into your life. You might find rationalizations to back up your decisions such as “Everyone does it”, “Sex/porn addiction does not exist”, on and on. At this point, you fall for the ideology of “sex positive” counselors, MGTOW, or some group with relieves your guilt and shame for viewing porn.
The second thing a Type B man does is send desperate emails, comments and a one-liner to others online asking for advice. Since you haven’t developed the habit of taking action like the Type A man- which involves a small element of risk, you take action any way you know how- by seeking help in the most risk-averse way.

Level 6

This level is characterized by feelings of being completely out of control. Every single day of your life involves thoughts of pornography and in an age of free porn, you are spending money on porn in the form of paid sites and cam sites.

Depression and hopelessness are two common feelings at this level. This doesn’t mean that you have no desire to quit. On the contrary, you do want to quit, but your self-doubt and lack of hope are overwhelming. Many men at Level 6 continue using pornography, even after being caught with it.

The type of pornography you are viewing has drastically escalated to violent material including bestiality, gore, snuff ( death), incest, rape, extreme violence and other depraved material. These are the only genres of pornography that can elicit an orgasm and sometimes even an erection. Staying in Level 6 leads to acting out.

This means seeking real-life sexual encounters to satisfy your addiction. This can range from seeking female, male or transgender escorts via different websites and apps, searching for random hookups, or in some cases, predatory behavior towards vulnerable people.

At Level 6, every aspect of your life is filled with lies as you need to do so in order to cover up your secret life. A man at Level 6 can maintain this behavior for years-even decades. When discovered, there is always a very high price to pay. Relationships fall apart in traumatic ways, careers are destroyed, sometimes, men end up in jail.

The good news about Level 6 is that the stakes are so high when you get caught, that it can trigger a very strong emotional desire to quit.

The bad news is that in Levels 5 and 6, you are delusional in your beliefs- that is, while you may acknowledge that your behavior is out of control, you don’t see its true impact on your life. You have also incorporated compulsive lying and manipulation into your day to day life since your behavior must be maintained in secrecy.

Breaking The Armor

Over the years, I’ve developed an exercise which I call “breaking the armor”. The purpose of this exercise is to help a man at Level 5 or 6 drop his conditioning for a brief moment and actually see what his life could look like without porn.

In my opinion- this is VERY important. After years of porn use and masturbation- lets say you started between the ages of 8-14 and carried on for 12-15 years, you truly have no concept of what a life without pornography looks like.

Porn is your first relationship.

Its comforted you as a teen when you were anxious.
It kept you company when you were lonely.
When you were stressed and overwhelmed, porn was always there to take off the edge.
On restless nights it helped you fall asleep
It taught you about sex and perhaps even gave you some sexual confidence
It was always there for you when your heart was broken

Unfortunately, porn overstayed its welcome…

But how do you let go of the one thing you could depend on for years?

What would life look like?

That where Breaking The Armor comes in.

Through a series of coaching questions, we gradually remove all your emotional armor or conditioning. This is a temporary process- but for a brief moment, you are free of your shame, your guilt, your lies and your rationalization. You are YOU. This is a powerful moment for many men.

When some of my clients at Level 5 and 6 see the incredible damage porn has had on their families, finances, careers, relationships, self-esteem, social life and on their emotions, some break down and cry. It’s like being possessed against your will and knowledge by a different personality which pretended to be you for years…and one day realizing who you really are for the first time.

The loss, self-betrayal, and lies you told yourself become evident. You see the man you could have been if porn didn’t get out of control in your life.

At that moment, most men decide that they are done for good. This is when the recovery process truly begins- when you have actually FELT what it’s like your greatest self.

Understanding these levels are so important to your recovery. This is why I have never paid much attention to the all the “fapping/not fapping” movements. It is a willpower solution that only helps men at Level 3.

To effectively recover, you or the person guiding you in your recovery must first determine what level you are at.

Once I determine what level a man is at, I know the exact steps needed to help him recover.

He will be able to identify his boundaries, develop the right amount of self-awareness, control fantasies, dialogue with himself, anticipate urges, deal with strong emotions of sadness, loss or hopelessness, accurately examine his rationalizations and much more- depending on the Level he is at.

Withdrawal symptoms are also experienced differently at each Level. The effects of withdrawals are physical and emotional. In in the past 7 years, I have not met a single client out of 400+ who could identify more than two withdrawal symptoms. They are able to identify them weeks later.

Now, at this point- a Type B man will be thinking: “J.K…man, I really want to quit, but you make it sound so complicated and even impossible.”
If that is you, understand that your habit of taking the easy way is kicking in right at this moment. Fight it.

The Type A man will be thinking of how he can best put this information to good use.

I could keep going, but I’ll end up writing a book. The point is- take the first step of identifying your level of addiction to pornography.

Review this email again and ask yourself whether you have moved from one level to the next( up or down) over the years.

Honestly identify whether you are a “Type A” or a “Type B” kind of man. There is nothing wrong with either-such is life, although the Type B man is clearly at a disadvantage. As I mentioned earlier- I was a typical Type B guy with a few Type A traits till I broke my armor and dedicated several very painful years to change my life.

If you want to hear a little bit about how I changed myself to more of a “Type A” man, watch this Video:

Finally…

I would REALLY like to know your thoughts on what level you are at and what “Type” of man you are.

Leave your response in the comment section.

The ONE THING that caused me the most pain in my life was lack of motivation and focus.

If you are just tuning in, up till the age of 23, I was a total failure- a direct result of my porn use.

You may be able to relate to some of the things that keep me down:

Social anxiety: I couldn’t speak to strangers, let alone women. Due to my inability to keep a part-time job, the only thing I could do was a job that took anyone- door to door sales. I failed at that too because one rejection would knock me out emotionally for several days.

Inability to concentrate: Do you have issues sticking to a task for long hours? I sucked at this. I couldn’t sit still in a class for more than an hour. After 20 minutes, I was done. All the jobs I took were boring and I dreaded showing up to work because I would hate being there within an hour.

Mood Swings: Can you relate? I could go from excited to losing my temper and rolling in anger for hours- replaying an event in my mind over and over again. I’d wake up feeling the same way. As I mentioned earlier, I was frequently depressed and the hopelessness was real.

Brain Fog: Simply put, I felt stupid. I mean, I know I’m not a disabled human being, but I really felt that way sometimes. I would decide to complete a college project and it was just so hard! Writing papers was like Frodo’s Journey In Lord of The Rings- epic and full of pitfalls. In all my years of college, there were probably two occasions I can remember where I sat down and knocked out a paper without holding my head in my hands in confusion.

Lack of Motivation: I don’t even need to explain this one, do I? Excuse my language, but I didn’t want to do jack shit. Get a job? Nope. Go to class? Zero motivation. I’m ashamed to admit it, but I literally quit going to several classes in college because the first two classes bored me to tears. Pay bills on time? Nah. I’ll pay late fees.

Irritability This was my trademark. I don’t even know how I managed to have friends. Maybe the weed I smoked back then made me tolerable. I would complain whenever I was asked to do anything. If something didn’t work out, you can be sure I would be the first person to complain.

These issues ALL stemmed from my compulsive porn use. I know because, once I quit porn, every single one of them disappeared!

I am far from perfect, but I have no social anxiety- in fact, I became well known in my company for my cold calling skills. Today, I can sit down and coach clients for ten hours straight with only four 15 minute breaks in between. I am extremely motivated to touch the lives of 1 million men by making them aware of the dangers of pornography and showing them the easy way to quit using the Porn Reboot system.

Brain fog was probably one of the first things that disappeared when I quit porn.

Studies have shown that this porn addiction effects our memories and focus in two main ways:

PORN DISRUPTS YOUR WORKING MEMORY

Pornography’s effect on your working memory: Working memory is basically a cognitive function which helps keep information in our brain readily available. By keeping important information available, you are able to access it quickly, and apply it when working on important tasks. For instance, if you work at a hectic job, or if you study a course that often requires periods of uninterrupted focus, your working memory is often needed. It helps you quickly decide which tasks are important and which can be moved to another time- these actions happen in seconds. This is crucial when eliminating distractions and staying focused on a task. For instance, if you are in college, your working memory helps you:

Set plans to study and stick those plans until your exam is passed/ you achieve a passing grade

Become a reliable group member and participate in achieving group goals in a structured way

Staying focused on lectures from beginning to end.Having the ability to pull your attention back to a lecture even when it is boring.

When porn erodes your working memory, however, you instead:

Often find yourself procrastinating or “cramming” right before exams

Find group activities “irrelevant” and never pay attention

Zone out by daydreaming or even fall asleep during lectures

For professionals, or individuals with full-time jobs, your working memory is negatively affected by your problems with porn and sex when:

You experience problems breaking projects down into logical smaller steps

You constantly underestimate the amount of time required to complete a task

You find yourself losing your temper all time with your spouse and kids

You are consistently late to work.

PORN AFFECTS YOUR ABILITY TO DELAY GRATIFICATION

Delayed gratification is your ability to put off a reward till later in the place of performing a more important task. A simple example would be the decision to eat a sweet dessert before or after your main meal which contains the majority of healthy nutrients you need.

Porn users have been found to have serious issues with delayed gratification. Inability to delay gratification leads to impulsive behavior. Impulsive behavior leads to lack of self-discipline.

My favorite definition of Self Discipline comes from Robert Ringer:

“ Self- Discipline- a single trait that every human being has the capacity to develop-gives me the power to outperform people who are far more intelligent and talented than I am. Self Discipline is about restraining or regulating, one’s actions- repressing the instinct to act impulsively in favor of taking rational actions that are long-term oriented.”

A key phrase in that quote is: “Repressing the instinct to act impulsively”. If biologically, porn has negatively affected your ability to control your impulses, you have a snowball’s chance in hell of developing self-discipline until your recover.

This study, published in Biological Psychiatry: http://www.biologicalpsychiatryjournal.com/article/S0006-3223(17)31005-3/pdf

The researchers investigated the relationship between dopamine receptors and adults suffering from depression.

They found that adults who suffered from depression and lowered receptor availability ( which can be caused by overuse of porn) were associated with “worsened episodic verbal memory and poorer executive function.”

In conclusion, porn not only makes your depressed, but it makes your memory worse AND affects your ability to get tasks done.

As I finish up this email, I’m going to leave you with a secret about recovery from porn as well as three gifts:

So many men- young and old want success in their lives. Whether its a thriving business, a job they enjoy, a partner or family to enjoy life with, healthy or feeling mentally balanced, happy and fulfilled most of the time; achieving these things takes work.

As Will Smith said:

“You don’t set out to build a wall. You don’t say ‘I’m going to build the biggest, worst, greatest wall that’s ever been built.’ You don’t start there. You say, ‘I’m going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid. You do that every single day. And soon you have a wall.”

The secret is that the wall never gets built to completion. It was never meant to be so. You build the wall, then you die. The only thing you can do is make sure that the PROCESS is as mindful and fulfilling as possible.

When I began my recovery at age 23, I was FULL of ambition. Porn nearly took everything away from me. I just wanted to be done with it so that I could move on with my life. Because of my hunger for ambition and my lack of patience in recovery, several times during the past 10 years, I tore down the entire wall in self-sabotage and frustration- but I always picked myself up and painstakingly started again brick by brick. I’m 33 years old now- and I’m still building. The one thing that has made a difference – the one thing that makes waking up every morning worth it is the thought of laying another perfect brick.

Our time is finite. I know from first-hand experience that some people who read an email of mine or watched one of my videos last week will not open this one -because their time on earth expired over the weekend.

Begin your recovery today and actually enjoy the process. Enjoy marking a big red “X” on your calendar every night you go to bed because you just won that day. Tell your spouse and kids that you love them , and stay in control of your habits for one more day. You don’t know if you’ll get another.

Today, three of my clients woke up late and weren’t able to start their morning routines on time.

One of the bad habits we build when addicted to pornography is going to sleep late and waking up late.

It may not have anything to do with porn necessarily. Maybe you just have a habit of watching movies, TV series or playing videogames late at night.

Perhaps you justify it by saying things like: “ I have trouble sleeping.”

One of the things I learned early in my recovery was the concept of managing my schedule. If you learn this, your recovery will become MUCH easier.

You’re on a Ship.

Think of yourself as being on ship in the ocean. The ocean of life, that is.

The different things which are out of your control daily are the storms in the ocean.

For a recovering porn addict, your Morning Routine is your anchor. It keeps you grounded during a storm.

Your schedule is your lifeline. If get thrown off the ship during a storm( a particularly stressful day) , its the rope that is thrown to you to save your life and pull you back to the safety of the ship.

Your morning routine is what you do every morning to prepare for your day. It should involve:

A recovery Exercise

Reading a chapter from an Addiction recovery book

Goals setting for the day

Reviewing your boundaries

Reviewing your Statement of Purpose (Why you want to quit porn)

Meditation or a Feelings Exercise if meditation is not your thing

It COULD also involve:

Visualization

Gratitude

Exercise- Lifting weights, Calisthenics or Yoga

Affirmations or Self Talk

Personally, my Morning Routine involves all of the above because it anchors me for the day. No matter how crazy my day gets, my ship (me) will never sink ( relapse/slip) because I am prepared. You can be too.

With a morning routine, you will know exactly where you are going, why you are doing certain things, where you want to be a few years from now. No one and nothing will throw you off track. Nothing will dissuade you from your goals. You will become what I call “Emotionally Fit”- capable of handling very strong emotions which regular people would collapse under.

Unfortunately, you cant have a morning routine with a bad schedule.

If you go to bed “anywhere between 11pm and 2am”, you will NEVER have a solid morning routine. Your ship will always sink or get damaged in a storm and you will often find yourself drowning.

Again: Your Schedule is Your Lifeline.

Decide on a specific time to go to bed and wake up. At that time, make sure you are in bed- regardless of whether you have problems sleeping or not.

In the early days of my recovery, by 10:30 pm, I was preparing for bed. No TV screens, no devices close by. I was in bed at 11pm. No calls, no emergencies, no homework.

Nothing. It was bedtime, recovery was my priority. If it was a zombie apocalypse, I’d find out in the morning.

I was up by 6 am and done with my morning routine ( including working out, by 8:00 am).

Except for a few days , usually when I was travelling, this schedule did not change. I had a shorter version of the morning routine for days when I travelled and arrived at my destination late or the handful of occasions when I went out with friends to a bar or club. This version lasted about 40 minutes.

Excuses. Porn Addiction Counseling

During recovery, you either make excuses or you take action.

“ My shift at work changed, so I cant wake up early.”

“ My girlfriend works late at night and we don’t get to spend time together, so I stay up late”

“I’m studying for an exam.”

“I have a paper due tomorrow”

“I was hungover”

“I was at a friends party”

These are all excuses. We can’t be perfect, but if you find yourself using these excuses multiple times a year, then you are slacking on your recovery.

In conclusion, many men screw up their recovery simply because they have no discipline with their schedule. They do not respect time. Once you fix you lifeline and your anchor, you immediately cut down on the emotional incidents, the urges which you experience throughout the day.

Around ten years ago, I had to face the reality of being addicted to pornography and masturbation. After so many years of fighting my urges, I had completely run out of options. It’s a moment that I will not like to relive for the rest of my life.

I felt I was the only person with that catastrophic feeling. I was wrong. And the best part was that many other people have had a fantastic comeback.

I decided to find out which was the winning track and follow it.

Reading a quote from a therapist who treated sex and porn addiction, he mentioned some things about the destructive nature of all sexual addictions:

“Often these destructive behaviors are compulsively performed in the face of, and even due to the threat, of these dangers. I think the point to understand about this behavior (porn addiction), is that the individual believes that they are worthy of self-destruction. In other words, the individual may be aroused by destruction but for him to continue seeking self-destruction, he must believe that this is what he deserves.”

After reading this I knew I had to change if I wanted a better future. My life was rapidly falling apart and I was already acting out.

I decided to do some research on my own through books and interviewing people who had successfully overcome their pornography and other sexual addictions and gone on to live amazing lives. After many months of research and tons & tons of notes, I started to look for a common denominator among them…, for their most common behavior….most repeated vehicle to start free of porn…, as well as their personal input on the “porn addiction recovery world”

One night I felt my head was about to explode

INFORMATION…INFORMATION…INFORMATION… and not a clue how to connect all this super valuable information given by all these super-successful recovered people…!

Then all of a sudden I felt something like an electric shock inside my head…!!( Oh shit!- a short circuit caused by working too hard- I thought-!)…But to my surprise, I was fine, better than ever before…and with all the information making sense for the first time in months!!!

‘I got it…I got it…!!!” And I started writing for hours & hours without even stopping for a second. I was able that night to arrange my valuable information…!!!

I came up with a “7 Step Plan” (yes, I know it sounds corny, but it did have 7 steps) to obtain my freedom from porn. It became my everyday companion, my “insurance” for a better future. I kept it in an easy place to reach and read it every day…many, many times…

After a few weeks of doing the same thing with consistency, I started noticing a change in me…and in the people around me ( my change made them change toward me!)

Not too long after that, I found my vehicle to obtain my “Porn Freedom”. In my first year after having started my “ 7 Steps Plan” I had completely quit watching pornography and masturbation, was back with my beautiful girlfriend, and had gone from losing my sales management job to running my own sales organization and on track to pay off my $18,000 student loan ..!!!

My life has changed like I never thought possible, I had been able to not only become the partner and man I always dreamed of being…what’s more important…I believe in myself again and I stopped being afraid of the future…!

Friends who knew me before and witnessed my “personality and life transformation” approached me with questions on how I did it. For those who were open minded enough to talk about porn, I told them how, and shared my “7 Step Plan”. They were able to quit porn, masturbation and one of them even quit his obvious sex addiction after a few months.

I had found a proven system to become PORN FREE…!!!

…And this same “7 Step Plan”, my friend, is what I would like to share with you today…

************************************************

Since early times it has been mans desire to escape the grip of his self-destructive addictions, to RECOVER and have control and mastery over his desires and urges in order to obtain happiness, wealth, social freedom, health, and a partner to share his life with. Not too many people have been able to achieve it all.

But before we get into the “7 Steps” let’s briefly define what SEX & PORN ADDICTION RECOVERY is:

Certain therapists and treatment methods believe that recovery is something that you keep up your entire life. You attend meetings for a few years often, and then periodically, perhaps take a lie detector test at your therapist office once a year (seriously), and check in with an accountability partner ever so often.
Others believe that once you abstain from the stimulus of pornography long enough, your brain is rewired biologically, then you are good to go.

Either way, the goal is to be FREE from all forms of sexual addiction.

THE SEVEN STEPS that I will share with you now, will help you draw a plan to reach that dream objective…and more…!
Let’s start…

First Step: YOU MUST DEFINE CLEARLY AND PRECISELY WHAT YOU REALLY WANT.
Many people fail in recovery because they don’t really know WHAT they want out of life. You can hear them saying: “ I want to be in a great relationship….I would love to run my own business…I would love to have a big happy family…I would love to travel the world…I would love a six pack…I would love to have a beautiful house….I want this or that….etc etc.” But the truth is that they don’t really know what they want…!

So our first step now will be to take pencil & paper and write down what you really desire out of life in a clear and precise way.

I can hear you asking…

Is that really needed….? Why…?

It’s very simple…

If you don’t know where you are going, how do you know when you have arrived…? How to strive for something if you don’t know for what…?

That’s why you’ll take a 3×5 card and put it in your pocket or wallet or any other place that will be easy to reach. For a whole week, every time you think of something that you would like to have or do, write it down in the card.

Let me give you some ideas of things you might want: a loving, fulfilling relationship…to wake up the morning free from guilt and shame…where you go for your dream vacation…the spark and passion back in your marriage…how much you want save…your exact body fat percentage….etc”

Once you do this, you will have taken a big step towards your RECOVERY.

Next, you will:

1- Write everything in the order you feel is most important for you.

2- Write the date when you would like to reach the goal

3- Figure out the price you will have to pay/ sacrifice to make to reach that goal.

Let me give you an example to make it easier: Let’s say you have decided to completely quit porn and masturbation 6 months from now. (This might sound impossible to you, but you are capable of permanent and dramatic change in your life in a short period of time, (you can do it …if only you can believe in it).
Write this goal and date clearly…and keep it in a place where you can see it every day as a reminder of your goal or goals.

With this you have finished STEP ONE toward your FREEDOM FROM PORN. It wasn’t so difficult, was it…?

Second Step: FIND A RECOVERY VEHICLE THAT WILL HELP YOU SECURE YOUR GOAL.
There are proven ways that will help get you to PORN FREE. The first one everyone thinks of is WILL POWER(something like NoFap), SELF-HELP/IMPROVEMENT and CHANGING HABITS: but willpower is finite- it doesn’t last forever and if porn was just a bad habit, you would have quit by now..!!

The reality is that just a handful of individuals may claim that they got PORN FREE through willpower. It really does not make sense to repeat the same mistakes other people have already encountered:

FACING THE REST OF THEIR LIVES WITH THE ACCEPTANCE THAT THEIR ONLY CHOICE TO TO “LIVE WITH” OR “MANAGE” THEIR PORN PROBLEM.

Definitely, this is not a way that I will suggest you follow.

USING WILLPOWER for many people is the way to go, although anyone can tell you that having willpower will not give you the long-term peace of mind and freedom you are seeking.

More and more men every day find out that must be really lucky to last up to a year using willpower while avoiding multiple triggers, especially if they live busy, stressful lives.

AND MY OPINION IS that developing willpower is a necessity, but will not eliminate porn from your life at all. You must find a vehicle that will lead you to obtain your freedom from porn goals.
I will mention three “ways or vehicles” that you can look at…and I will share the one I have chosen.

VEHICLE NUMBER ONE: Join a Support Group (online or in person)
Joining a support group, whether it’s an online forum, a church group, or a 12 Steps group.

Being part of a support group will give you a lot of positive things, like the knowledge that you are not alone in your struggle…, being able to open up about your secrets in a safe environment, a sense of community access to accountability partners and so on.
Also, being part of a support group will give you a lot of headaches with things such as an obligation to attend every meeting and not “let down” the group, listening to people who have a completely different experience from you, hiding your group activity from others in your life, being around uncommitted/ distracted / complainers in an online forum,…etc.

Statistics show that the success rate of 12-Step and similarly designed groups is 5 – 10%. 12 % of attendees claimed sobriety for five to 10 years, 24% were sober for one to five years, and 31% were sober for under a year.

To join a support group you will need time, commitment and willingness to trust strangers. If you have access to a group and don’t mind the challenge this will be a great option…Instead of using willpower where you are all alone, you’ll be with others and have accountability.

VEHICLE NUMBER TWO: Therapy.
This can give you all the advantages of a support group and will also eliminate the low success risk a traditional 12 Step Group offers.

Out there you can find a lot of great therapists, but they all require a HUGE amount of time and financial investment to see results. If you don’t have that kind of time to devote to a therapist over the long run, chances are you will not be able to take that path.

Therapists are not allowed to speak about their own personal experiences with porn or sex, so there is the slight risk of spending time and money without getting the connection or empathy which you need. Some therapists still believe that uncontrolled masturbation and all sorts of pornography are healthy and improve relationships. That’s just like how doctors in the 1930’s believed that smoking was good for your health.

On the other hand, if you have the time and access to an experienced therapist this could be a fantastic vehicle to achieve freedom from porn.

VEHICLE NUMBER THREE: Recovery Coaching

These days, you can find a great number of addiction treatment facilities, health centers, hospitals and community recovery organizations bringing in trained recovery coaches; and in a consistent way, recovery coaching has helped a lot of people to be become porn free.

These facilities give their patients and clients access to recovery coaching merely because the only way for these companies to be successful is by helping their clients to end their addictions successfully first!

Most facilities are effective at helping men manage their porn and sex addiction, but none of them can help you STAY free, which is one of the biggest doubts all men struggling with porn face.

“Sure, you can help me get free…but what happens later? Will I stay free?”

One of the big secrets of rehab centers, hospitals and treatment facilities are becoming reliant on recovery coaches for aftercare because they and their patients realize that it is not always that we find -when starting to quit porn and sex addiction- experienced recovered people willing to share their knowledge and experience with us, so we can obtain freedom…!!

This is the vehicle I chose for my recovery, and these are the four main reasons for my decision:

1) Affordable
2) Tremendous change in a short amount of time- 3 to 6 months.
3) Freedom to work at a pace I was comfortable with
4) To maximize my self-development and accountability in quantum leaps. It gave me the opportunity to help myself and obtain other things I wanted in life.

The freedom to also apply the self-development skills I had gained over my years of struggling with porn really appealed to me!

Third Step: STAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVE & SKEPTICAL PEOPLE
Take this suggestion very seriously.

PLEASE…PLEASE…stay away from those people who only talk, think or act in negative ways. Those who don’t believe porn addiction exists…those who are incapable of seeing a woman as anything other than an object…anyone who tell you that your goals are impossible…Negative people will take you down with them…Don’t let anyone steal your dream…!!!

Find new friends if you must…Life is too short to let it be jeopardized by negative influences.

Fourth Step: ACCEPT THAT ITS UP TO YOU
I will include a poem by James Metcalfe that explains very clearly what I mean by “It’s up to you”

IT’S UP TO ME

I get discouraged now and then
When there are clouds of grey
Until I think about the things
That happened yesterday
I do not mean the day before,
Or those months ago,
But all the yesterdays in which
I had the chance to grow
I think of opportunities
That I allowed dying,
And those I took advantage of
Before they passed me by
And I remember that the past
Presented quite a plight
But somehow I endured it and
The future seemed alright
And I remind myself that
I am capable and free
And my success and happiness
Are really up to me

( This step does not need further explanation). JUST ACCEPT THAT ITS UP TO YOU!!!

Fifth Step: TAKE ACTION !!
If you decide to do something…you know you want it with all your heart…but don’t take action, nothing will happen…!! You MUST research, you MUST think, but by all means, you MUST take action..!!

Not making a decision is a decision itself.
You have to ask yourself…how can you get where you want to be if you don’t start any movement…? If you don’t take the first step…?

Act today. DO NOT leave for tomorrow what you can do today !!!

Sixth Step: ALL EXCUSES ARE EQUAL
No matter which excuse you can give…, or which excuse you choose to give…there is NOT a good reason to be still addicted to porn, sex or masturbation…!!!

Look back five years…three years…two years, can you see yourself at that time…?
What happened during those five years…? Did you get what you wanted…? If not…, WHAT IS YOUR EXCUSE…?

It’s hard to face reality…It can HURT to face reality…I can understand that…I’ve been there many times…But I can also tell you… ” Don’t look back to blame yourself…Now is the time to move forward…, now is the time to make the decision…, Now is the time to make the necessary changes to have a fantastic, porn free future!!!”

Seventh Step: START WRITING YOUR GOAL AND PLANNING…!!! PLAN…PLAN…AS MUCH AS YOU CAN…!!!
You can take every step to recovery that you want, but if you don’t have a plan or written goals, you will never get to your ideal destination!!

Start with little goals and a simple plan to achieve them…Then increase your goals step by step as your confidence grows…You MUST write your goals down and plan…plan…plan….and remember…all excuses are equal!!

These are the seven steps I promised you, but I must add two more that I learned after I finished with my original plan:

Number Eight: SURROUND YOURSELF WITH PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY’RE DOING, LEARN FROM THEM, APPLY WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO RECOVER AND GET WHERE THEY ARE NOW.

Number Nine: (This is the most amazing step of all, that’s why I saved it for last) :

HAVE TOTAL, UNSHAKEABLE BELIEF IN YOURSELF… NO MATTER WHAT…!

Following these seven steps…plus two, you may achieve what you really want out of your recovery from porn…I can’t promise for sure you will be successful, but…These STEPS worked for me…they worked for others who, like me, were willing to pay the price…why not for you?

I’m looking for a few individuals who are ready for transformation. If you are a person willing to learn how to become porn free…how to turn years of disappointment into success…how to be the best you can be…PLEASE act now!!
If you are one of them, please don’t hesitate to respond to the offer in this message.

An exclusive offer, just for Y-O-U.

Without further ado, I now present the mystery offer you’ve been waiting for.

This one-time, super-special offer includes two parts.

Part I: One 60-Minute Recovery Coaching Session

Before
A pre-session agenda so you know exactly what to expect.
One goal-setting email exchange so I know exactly what you’re hoping to get from the session. Tell me EVERYTHING.
My own pre-session brainstorming, so we can hit the ground running with a recovery plan customized for YOU. (I reserve an hour before each call to put together a custom plan. Let’s take advantage of that.)

During
A 60-minute Skype call (video or audio – your choice!) to collaborate and craft your perfect recovery plan.
This all depends on your needs. If you’ve already made some attempts to recover, we’ll review what you have accomplished so far and improve on it, making it perfect for you. If you’ve yet to begin your recovery we’ll get into some deep coaching and draft a solid plan.

After
Google (or Word) documentation of our deep coaching results and your recovery plan (for your own use, of course!).
A custom-created executive summary of key takeaways from our session, along with suggested next steps.
Helpful, easy-to-digest resources to keep your recovery momentum going!

Here are some of the issues we can cover:
Pornography
Masturbation Addiction
Anonymous Sex
Serial Infidelity
Escorts, Prostitutes
Sexual massage
Cybersex, Webcams
Tinder, Bumble, POF, Grindr compulsions

And now, here’s where the offer gets good… In addition to the first 60-minute style session, you also get:

Part II: One FREE Bonus 30-Minute Follow-up Improvement Session ($100 value!)

NOTE: This session must be booked within 30 days of your original 60-minute session to ensure the freshest results.

Before
One pre-session goal-setting email exchange so I know exactly what we’re following up and improving on.
My own pre-session brainstorming so we can maximize this half-hour of power.

During
After you follow the recovery plan from our initial session, you’ll learn a few new things about yourself. Some emotions and feelings you have been medicating with porn will express themselves.
You’ll see your challenge with pornography in a new light and come up with some deep questions. This session is designed to get into those questions, develop skills to handle those emotions (without porn or masturbating) and incorporate these skills into your recovery plan!
A 30-minute Skype call to make any needed revisions, changes or clarifications to the recovery plan we created during the 60-minute style session.

After
Post-session summary email and final drafts via Google or Word docs.
An energizing, positive and optimistic recovery coaching high that will last you until our next time together!

Does this sound like a ridiculously effective way to get you started on your recovery or what?

Before we go any further, it’s important I say this: My philosophy is to empower my clients through asking deep recovery questions, motivating, teaching and encouraging. If you’re looking for someone to just give you the “magic key” to recovery we’re probably not a good fit.

In order to make our collaboration successful, you have to bring some serious brain power to our sessions. That means, specific goals and concerns, a solid work ethic, and most importantly – a positive attitude!

I believe that everyone can recover with the right guidance and the right recovery plan. (And yes, I also believe that I can give you the right guidance and the right recovery plan!)

So let me tell you how to get there from here.
